Turn Structure
1. Roll the White Dice
- Block die: Deplete 1 block of the rolled color from the resource cube.
- Mob die: Activate every mob of that number, or spawn new ones. Mobs either spawn or activate - never both on the same turn.
2. Execute Two Actions
Choose any two actions in any order. The same action may be taken twice.
Move
- Without boots or leggings: move 1 space.
- With boots or leggings: move item to inactive row, then move the number of spaces shown on the item.
When moving:
- Landing on a chest token: each player draws 2 items and keeps 1. Discard the chest token.
- Landing adjacent to an unexplored board tile: players decide whether to reveal it.
- Landing adjacent to the portal strip: if piglin tasks are complete, reveal the portal strip and spawn the boss on it.
- Cannot enter lava or a space with a mob.
- Can enter magma but take 1 damage upon entering.
- Can enter spaces with other players.
- Soul sand requires 2 points of movement to enter.
- Netherite boots exception: No damage from magma; not slowed by soul sand.
Attack a Mob
- Roll combat dice equal to the number shown on the weapon.
- If hits > 0: move weapon to the inactive inventory row.
- If hits >= mob's life total: mob defeated - draw 2 items and keep 1.
- Netherite sword: may reroll any number of dice one time.
Mine Blocks
- Without a pickaxe: mine 1 block.
- With a pickaxe: move pickaxe to inactive row, then mine resources equal to the number shown (or fewer). Use resources immediately:
- Option 1: use the block color's ability.
- Option 2: contribute to piglin tasks.
- Diamond pickaxe: mine random discarded resources instead.
Repair an Item
Move an item from the inactive row back to the active row. Enchanting a damaged item immediately repairs it.
Piglin Tasks
Fill the piglin board with resources. Each column must contain only one color.
Tasks must be completed before the corresponding layer of the resource cube is depleted:
- Task A - before top layer is depleted.
- Task B - before second layer is depleted.
- Task C - before third layer is depleted.
Once all tasks are complete, the portal can be revealed when any player moves adjacent to the portal strip.
Inventory
Items in the top (active) row are available to use. When used, move the item to the bottom (inactive) row. Repair an item to move it back to active.
Leggings may be assigned to movement or armor, but not both.
