Each Player's Turn
Move Exactly Three Times
- 1 room = 1 space. Moving through walls is allowed.
- Must move at least 1 time before performing any action.
- Actions may be performed between moves.
- If a room has a zombie, you MUST fight it.
After Each Move: Actions
If a zombie is present, you MUST melee attack it:
- Melee (same room) - Roll the die:
- Gray zombie (normal): nothing extra happens.
- Green zombie (overkill): move 1 extra room.
- Wound symbols: take wounds equal to the number of symbols.
- Ranged (adjacent room) - Spend 1 ammo. Always successful.
If no zombie is present, you may:
- Use room ability - only if no zombies are anywhere in the store.
- Collect a supply token - carry it to the central courtyard space:
- Advance the barricade marker 2 spaces.
- Draw a card from the supply deck, then equip it, drop it, or bury it.
- Return the supply token to its original spot.
- Collect objective tokens - check current objective cards for rules.
- Collect item cards dropped in the room previously.
End of Turn: Search the Store
- Flip up your face-down Search Card.
- If it is a pickup item: resolve it immediately, then discard.
- Otherwise: drop it (can be picked up on a future action).
- Replace it with a new face-down Search Card.
- Spawn zombies based on the card's entrance symbol:
- If the card matches your current store's symbol: add two zombies in each store with that symbol.
- Otherwise: add one zombie in each store with that symbol.
Zombie Spawning Rules
Zombies always start in the lowest numbered room of their store.
- No room can have more than 1 zombie at a time.
- If a room already has a zombie, place in the next room instead.
- If overflowing, advance to the courtyard if possible, otherwise to the next store clockwise.
- If a zombie is added to a room with a hero: hero is overrun - take 1 wound and cannot attack that zombie until after the next move.
Zombie Enters a Corner Store and Can't:
- Go to the next store clockwise.
- If still can't, go to the courtyard:
- Reduce the barricade by 1.
- If barricade reaches 0: remove a survivor and reset to 2.
- If barricade reaches 0 and no survivors remain: LOSE.
Melee Die Results

Supply Token
Carrying a supply token to the courtyard's central space:
