Solo Mode Setup (vs. 2 Robot Pilots)
  1. Set up as a 3-player game: the human player takes the single north Base Zone, and each Robot Pilot takes one of the other two Bases.
  2. Both Robot Pilots start wearing Power Armor, facing north toward the human player.
  3. Place 2 Player Cards side-by-side for each Robot Pilot, with Energy and Credits Tokens on the "3" space.
  4. Robot Pilots don't use Pilot Cards. Flip the 4th, unused Player Card over to reveal the Robot Pilot Guide.
  5. Give each Robot Pilot 2 Basic Weapons: one gets a Pulse Pistol and Energy Sword, the other gets a Pulse Pistol and Grenade Launcher.
  6. Shuffle each Robot Pilot's 8 Program Cards into a face-down stack under its Player Cards. Return both Ad Hoc Mode Cards to the box (Robot Pilots never use Ad Hoc Mode).
  7. Flip all Robot Pilot Mines face-down, shuffle them, and place 1 random Mine face-down in each Robot Pilot's Base.
