Star Wars: Epic Duels

Game Setup

Setup

  1. Choose a battle scene and place that gameboard between the players.
  2. Each player chooses a side (light or dark) and selects a main character. Take that character's chart, pawn, minor character pawn(s), and card deck. Your main character deck always includes cards for your minor character(s).
  3. Each player places their main character pawn on the board space with its name.
  4. Roll the die. The player with the highest roll places their minor character(s) first. Play passes to the left. The first player to place minors also goes first.
  5. Place minor character(s) on any space adjacent to your main character (including diagonals). Two characters cannot occupy the same space.
  6. Take a wound marker for each character (main and minor) you control. Set each marker on the blue circle of the corresponding character chart.
  7. Each player shuffles their deck, places it face down within reach, and draws the top 4 cards. Leave room for a discard pile.

First time playing? Start with 2 players: Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Count Dooku on the Geonosis Arena gameboard.
